What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot call external services. GovIntelligence runs an MCP server – once connected, your AI tool can search GovIntelligence data to answer your questions.
Do I need a GovIntelligence account?
Yes. The MCP server uses your existing GovIntelligence login and sees the same data you see in the app.
Can we control what the AI tool is allowed to do in GovIntelligence?
Yes, in your AI platform. Most business and enterprise plans let admins enable or block individual tools.
Can we roll it out to the whole team?
Yes. An admin adds the GovIntelligence connector once for the organisation, then everyone connects with their own login. You manage permissions in one place.
Which AI tools does it work with?
Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot and any other tool that supports remote MCP servers.
Where does the data come from?
From the same sources as the GovIntelligence platform: notices from TED and German procurement platforms, enriched with products, vendors, contract terms and industry news.
